ID Theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in America. ID theft coverage is for all family members associated with the membership, and it's included in the $25 annual dues. Comparable services can cost $10-$15 per month per individual.
How it works
Examples of ID theft include, but are not limited to: pirated credit and debit cards, use of personal information to establish new credit, driver license fraud, health insurance fraud, and bogus access to government benefits
If a Farm Bureau member suspects that their identity has been compromised, trained professional investigators will determine if an event has occurred, and the severity of the case.
Once the determination is made that a member's identity has been compromised:
• A licensed professional investigator is assigned to the member.
• Steps are taken to stop the problem from becoming worse.
• Using a limited power of attorney, the investigator works to restore the member's identity. This frees the member from countless hours of frustration.
What this benefit is not
• It is not designed to prevent ID theft
• It is not a credit monitoring service.
• It is not a source to get a free credit report
• It is not an insurance product provided by Tennessee Farm Bureau Insurance
Personal licensed investigators serve as liaison with credit bureaus, creditors and/or collection agencies as well as to conduct fraud research that is not credit-related. 1-877-329-3911.
